SEMINAR GOALS

Participants receive a sound basic knowledge of the physics of electrostatics and its damage mechanisms in electronic components. They are familiarized with the necessary protective measures, the equipment and setup of an ESD protection zone (EPA) in accordance with the IEC DIN EN 61340-5-1 standard, etc. You will receive an overview of the tasks of an ESD officer, as well as the measurement methods and measuring devices for electrostatics. In a final success check, graduates demonstrate the knowledge they have acquired, which is confirmed by the Electro Static Discharge certificate. People who need to find out about the physical causes of ESD.
